Fire at Ignace Waste Site

OPP and Fire officials are investigating the cause of a fire at the Ignace Waste Disposal site.
Police and firefighters were called to the blaze last Friday and found that a brush and tire pile had been ignited.
The Ministry of Natural Resources is on scene monitoring smouldering piles that are still burning and the Ministry of Environment was also called in.
It’s unknown how the fire started.
