Fire Contained

A local family came within minutes of losing their lakefront home Tuesday night.
Dryden Fire Service says someone placed a cigarette into a planter
which sparked a blaze at the Davis Point Road home.
Thanks to dry conditions and high winds the flames spread to the wooden
deck.
Quick work by the homeowners and fire crews prevented the blaze from engulfing the home.
