Fire Crews Kept VERY Busy

Fire personal in the area were kept hopping Wednesday.
Grass fires in Oxdrift and Wabigoon had MNR crews and volunteer firefighters busy battling the flames and some pretty strong winds.
Officials believe the blazes were started by people burning grass and things got out of control.
Dryden Fire Chief Darryl Herbert reminds residents outside city limits that no burning is permitted before 6 pm.
However, if proffesional help is required to douse the flames, the costs could be charged back to the property owner.
