Non-Smoking Charges Laid in Sioux Lookout

The Sioux Hotel is the first business in Sioux Lookout to be charged for not complying with the municipalites non-smoking order.
The Town’s Bylaw officer laid 2 separate charges during an inspection last week.
Owner Philip Baizer says doesn’t mind being made an example because the issue should be out in the open.
Baizer wants the issue put to a referendum.
The Town plans to continue its enforcement.
Fines can reach $5,000.
