Fire Hazard Now High to Extreme

The warm and windy conditions has pushed the fire hazard to high in much of the region.
Information Officer Debbie McLean says they have been battling several blazes across the region, some of which have been inching close to homes.
McLean says until the rain falls they are on high alert.
The public is being asked to postpone brush and grass burning and not light campfires.
