Fire Hazard Now High/Extreme

The forest fire hazard is high to extreme across northwestern Ontario.

There were eight new fires confirmed by Monday afternoon, with more reports being investigated.

All of the blazes are in the Red Lake, Sioux Lookout and Thunder Bay districts.

They range in size from 0.1 to 12 hectares and are not considered serious right now.
