Dryden Police are looking into what caused a suspicious fire at the pedestrian overpass at the south end of Queen Street.
City fire crews were called Saturday evening, and found a suspected electrical fire burning in the middle of the crossway behind the walls and up the ceiling.
Firefighters put it out within minutes.
So far, officials say it looks like combustible materials had been put in the walkway and caught on fire.
The heat and flames then ignited a large rubber seal that runs up the walls behind steel plates and across the ceiling of the crosswalk, which was near several electrical wires.
The damage is unknown at this time.
