Fire Personnel Head Across Border

The Ministry of Natural Resources has sent crews south of the border.
The Northwest Region has dispatched two 20-member fire crews and 9
overhead staff to help fight fires in Montana.
A total of 99 fire personnel from Ontario have been posted in the
Western state.
MNR officials say they have enough staff to deal with any new starts in
this Region.
The fire hazard in this Region is moderate to high with 7 new starts
over the weekend.
All of the blazes were quickly contained.
