Fire Prevention Week In The Books

Another successful fire prevention week is in the books.
Dryden Firefighters visited one school every day and taught over 800 students about fire safety.
Over a 4 hour period in Dryden, over $2,600 was donated to the firefighters Boot Drive for Muscular Dystrophy.
Also, more than 500 people attended the Dryden Fire Service Open House.
A number of organizations were there including the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ontario Provincial Police, Red Cross, Safe Communities Dryden, Office of the Fire Marshal and the Dryden Fire Service.
Firefighters provided various demonstrations.
