Fire Report

The Ministry of Natural Resources reports several lightening strike fires in the Region over the past few days but so far crews have been able to get a handle on them quickly.
Information Officer Debbie McLean says they have been recording 10 to 20 new fires a day, but most have been fairly small.
The MNR urges everyone heading into the bush to use a small portable gas stove to avoid starting more fires.
