Things are starting to wind down for the Ministry of Natural Resources in western Canada.
46-firefighters have returned home, leaving 118 personnel mainly in B.C. and Saskatchewan.
Rain has helped the fire situation in B.C., where most of Ontario’s staff were stationed.
Here at home, there are now only 22-active fires burning and all are being observed.
Nine are in the Red Lake district, while six are in the Sioux Lookout area.
