Another reminder of ensuring your smoke alarms are working and in fine order.
The Dryden Fire Service was dispatched to a Duke Street three storey apartment building Tuesday afternoon around 3 o’clock.
Firefighters found smoke in the second floor hallway and noticed smoke coming from what ended up being an unoccupied room.
There was no damage and the Fire Service is working with the buildings owner to figure out the cause of the smoke.
The building was evacuated as a precaution.
