Fire Update

A forest fire which had come close to the Pickle Lake area over the weekend is not yet under control.
However, MNR Fire Information Officer Debbie MacLean says the blaze does not pose an immediate threat to the communities of Pickle Lake and Central Patricia.
And MacLean says residents who were evacuated have now been allowed to return home.
MacLean says about 30-fire crews are working on the blaze with warm, dry conditions continuing to pose problems to bring it under control.
