Advance Relief Funding For Residents

Residents, small businesses and farmers in the region who suffered losses during the recent flooding may be eligible for advance funding from the disaster relief program.
The Minister of Municipal Affairs says some may qualify to receive advance payments of 25-hundred dollars each to assist with immediate emergency repairs and clean-up.
Residents in applicable areas should contact their local municipal office for more information.
The municipalities covered under disaster relief include Machin, Ignace, Atikokan and Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls.
