Dryden Canada Day Deemed Successful

Communties in Sunset Country marked Canada’s 135th birthday with a multitude of events .
In Dryden, activities shifted to Cooper Park and the waterfront area this year from Sandy Beach with an eye to attract more families and seniors.
Chamber of Commerce representatives say they were pleased with the turnout.
Dryden Deputy Fire Chief Ken Kurz kicked off the area Cops for Cancer campaign by getting his head shaved.
Meantime, the official shave-off will be held August 24th.
