Kenora Rainy River MP Bob Nault wants more cooperation between Canada and the United States to help control flooding in the region.
Nault feels a watershed council needs to formed to deal with floods, which have occurred numerous times in the past few years.
He estimates it could cost more than 30 million dollars to repair roads damaged by high waters last month alone.
He believes climate change is responsible for the recent floods.
