It was a busy weekend for the Ministry of Natural
Resources in Northwestern Ontario.
Thunder and Lightning sorms, combined with the warm
weather resulted in 21 fire starts on Saturday and Sunday.
Information Officer Mitch Miller says the weather will be
improving this week, and should restore things back to
normal.

The Dryden District responded to three blazes over the
weekend, while Kenora only had one.
