A more formal and open discussion surrounding the Dryden firefighter impasse will be held on Monday.
Dryden Fire Fighters Association Negotiating Chair Darren Trist will make a presentation to Council.
Trist says he will be following up on Councillor Roger Valley’s suggestion for an open discussion.
He will also outline current problems and possible solutions.
Meantime, Councillor Mary Trist will present two motions calling for a “public town hall meeting immediately to hear all of the concerns and get the true facts and information out there and/or immediately re-start conversations with the Association”.
