Ontario is lending a helping hand!
The MNR is sending 10, 4 person firefighting teams and 2 water bombers from this region to Thompson, Manitoba.
A massive blaze is burning out of control near the Town.
Information Officer Debbie McLean says the fire hazard in this region is low to moderate so the crews are available.
McLean says several small fires sparked by lightening are burning in the region however all are under control.
Lightening sparked the Thompson blaze Saturday, which now has a perimeter of more than 140km.
