A large group of Northwestern Ontario firefighters have returned home after lending a helping hand south of the border.
The crews left August 23rd to help fight a massive fire in Oregon.
The blaze is now 95-percent contained.
The trip was deemed a success as the crew worked well with American firefighters.
The MNR says the Northwestern Ontario contingent followed Canadian safety procedures and were never in danger.
