Fires in Oxdrift and Wabigoon

Oxdrift and Dryden Fire responded to a grass fire on Kellar Road in Oxdrift on Monday and with support from the Ministry of Natural Resources, the bush fire was contained within 45-minutes.
On the same day, Dryden, Oxdrift and Wabigoon fire received a report of a house fire on Main Street in Wabigoon.
The home’s living room sustained serious damage, while the remaining structure suffered heat, smoke and water damage.
One person received injuries and was treated on scene.
