For the third time in a row the Fort William North Stars found themselves playing four periods of hockey at the Dudley Hewitt Cup in Sault Ste. Marie. The North Stars fell 2-1 in overtime to the Oakville Blades to finish round robin play with a 1 and 2 record. With the win the Blades will get the bye to the Finals.
The Stars will battle the Soo Thunderbirds in the Semi.
The host team clipped Abitibi 4-3 to advance.
