Literacy Coaches Receive Thousands in Funding

$170,000 in funding is going to literacy coaches in area schools after a meeting with the Northwest Catholic District School Board.
Chair Anne-Marie Fitzgerald says taking the money out of Board reserves was important.
The money will cover salary and benefits needed to increase the hours these literacy coaches work.
