Fireworks Could Be Cancelled This Year In Dryden

Fireworks at this year’s Canada Day celebrations in Dryden may not be a possibility.
Fire Chief Ken Kurz says in the past years, organizations have purchased them but so far no one has stepped up and offered to fork out around 10-thousand-dollars to pay for them.
Kurz says the Dryden Development Corporation has previously funded it, but there’s no word as to if they are helping again this year.
Kurz adds the city has until the end of the month to come up with the money.
