First Draft of 2007 Budget

The City of Dryden has unveiled the first draft of the 2007 capital
budget.
170 projects, totalling over $11-million are on the wish list.
Treasurer Linda McNaughton says a number of suggestions made at the
public meeting are up for review.
Other projects up for consideration are traffic lights at Tim Hortons,
repairs to the Duke Street overpass and resurfacing Highway 594.
Public Works and the Airport submitted a $4.6-million budget,
$3.2-million has been earmarked for commerical planning and residential
development and DMTS has requested $1.2-million for capital work.
