The Miners thrilled their hometown fans with a 3-1 win over the Wisconsin Wilderness.
Devon Vander Wyk broke open a 1-1 tie early in the third to score the game winner.
John Morales and Vincent Currao also found the back of the net.
English River is back in action tonight on home ice against Fort Frances.
