First Newborn at New Hospital in Sioux Lookout

What an opening for the Meno-Ya-Win Health Centre in Sioux Lookout.
On its first day of operation last Sunday, the Hospital celebrated the birth of the first newborn in the new maternity ward.
Brad Meekis and Tamara Quezence of Kejick Bay, Lac Seul First Nation welcomed Shayla into the world.
Shayla weighed in at 7-pounds and 14-ounces.
Staff at the Hospital donated items for a gift basket which was presented to the proud parents.
