First Non-Smoking Campaign Of The Year

This is National Non-Smoking Week, which raises awareness about tobacco use.
Roberta Lappage is the youth coordinator with the Northwestern Health Unit, and says the theme for this year is “Live, work play…even better smoke free”.
It touches on living a smoke-free lifestyle and educating the public on smoke-free parks and beaches.
Lappage adds it’s important that if you’re smoking outside, make sure you are at least 9 meters away from people and buildings.
