Promoting the tourism industry in northwestern Ontario.
The Dryden Development Corporation and the city of Dryden are set to launch GONWO.ca, an interactive digital platform project that will feature cultural tourism opportunities in the region.
The website will be accessible tomorrow through the DDC’s social media channels.
The third phase of the project, a mobile development experience, is currently being developed and will launch at later date.
Project lead Catherine Dashney says GONWO.ca provides users with information about local businesses, attractions and events.
Dashney says eight communities are involved in the project and notes feedback has been positive.
