A new Integrated Trades Program will be launched in September at
High Schools across the Keewatin-Patricia School District.
The project gives all students a taste of basic plumbing, carpentry,
welding and electrical skills with an opportunity to later specialize in
one specific area.
Crescive is a partner in the initiative and Cyndi Cossais says they want
to grab the attention of aboriginal students.
Cossais says they hope to work with the elders to act as mentors and
teachers.
