Nuclear Power Not Supported by Hampton

NDP Leader Howard Hampton says the McGuinty Government has bent over
for the nuclear power industry by spending $70-billion.
The Kenora-Rainy River MPP says the Liberals need to look at
alternatives because local residents will pay for their error in judgement with sky-high hydro rates.
The Province’s energy plan calls for building new nuclear reactors and
refurbishing existing ones.
The NDP Leader says more money should have been put towards wind power
and conservation strategies.
