First Round Opponent Set For Eagles Football Team

Despite finishing in a tie for first place, the Dryden Eagles High School Football team will have to travel for their opening playoff match-up.

The Eagles will battle the St. John’s Tigers Thursday afternoon (4:00) in Winnipeg.

Dryden finished the season with six straight wins, one better than their opponent.

The two teams didn’t meet in the regular season.

The Beaver Brae Broncos, who the Eagles defeated in regular season play, will get to play at home against Lorette.
