An enforcement blitz on four lakes near Sioux Lookout resulted in a 92 per cent compliance with only 11 charges and 17 warnings for anglers.
Conservation officers from the Ministry of Natural Resources in Sioux Lookout conducted a two-day enforcement blitz on Minnitaki, Abram, Pelican and Botsford lakes this week.
Officers checked over 300 fisherman.
Charges included possessing fish of a prohibited length, possessing a live sport fish, possessing an over sized bass, and operating a vessel with open alcohol.
