Five People Die In Single Vehicle Crash

Slate Falls First Nation, just northwest of Sioux Lookout, is mourning the loss of five community members.
Provincial Police say a vehicle was travelling north on Slate Falls Road Saturday night when it left the road and entered Brokenmouth River.
Police say the vehicle was recovered the next morning and 5-bodies were located inside.
The deceased have been identified as 55-year-old Gordon Carpenter, 26-year-old Samantha Loon, 23-year-old Kimberly Whiskeyjack, 23-year-old John Bighead and 20-year-old Claudia Loon.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
