The fluoride issue has surfaced once again in Dryden.
The first draft of the 2007 budget has been released and the Waterworks
Budget is showing a deficit of $444,000.
Finance Chair Brian Collins says $300,000 of that is planning for
the installation of fluoride, which will have to be picked up by taxpayers.
Although the City doesn’t have specific timelines to follow regarding
the installation of fluoride, staff have been advised to act in a reasonable
manner.
A public meeting to discuss capital projects and the upcoming budget
will be held next Monday at 5 at City Hall.
