Bus Crash Injures Former Ice Dog Coach and 2 Kenora Kids

A bus carrying former Dryden Ice Dog Coach Jason Tatarnic and the
Maritime Junior Hockey team Woodstock Slammers went off the road during a
snowstorm Saturday, criticaly injuring the teams Assistant Coach.
According to the RCMP, 22-players, 5-team officials and the bus driver
were injured, when the bus flipped on its side in Days Corner, PEI.
Tatarnic received minor cuts and bruises as did defenceman Kyle
Chagnon of Kenora.
Reports say forward Brooks Mejia of Kenora remains in hospital
with a concussion.
Firefighters used the jaws of life to free the Assistant Coach who was
airlifted to hospital.
