Flyers Collar Dogs

Quite the debut for new Sioux Lookout Head Coach Kurt Walston.

Walston won his first SIJHL game, a 2-1 decision against the visiting Dryden Ice Dogs Tuesday evening.

Chase Dobranski was the hero for the Flyers, scoring the winner late in the first period.

Brett Ferguson opened the scoring for Sioux Lookout.

Dallas Crum replied for Dryden.

Jesse Wilkins was the story in between the pipes, making 40-saves.

Ian Perrier stopped 33 shots in a losing cause.

The game was the first in the Mayor’s Attendance Challenge.

The reported attendance was 390.

The Dryden Ice Dogs will try to better that tonight (Wednesday).

All tickets are $5. Kids aged 6 to 13 can get in for $2.
