Suddenly and unexpectedly Susan passed away at Lake of the Woods Hospital in Kenora, ON at the age of 57.
Susan was born and raised in Keewatin, ON. She spent a number of years there, moved to Winnipeg about 25 years ago and recently moved to Kenora, ON.
Susan was predeceased by her parents (David & Eleanor), her brother George and her husband Jerry, whom she spent the last 24 years. She leaves to mourn her 2 sisters Helen & Dorothy (Carl).
She was an active member of the West Kildonan Legion in Winnipeg for many years. She will be missed by family, extended family and numerous friends she had met over the years.
In keeping with Susan’s wishes she will be cremated and laid to rest with her parents in Kenora, ON in the summer of 2011.
Two tired eyes are sleeping,
Two willing hands are still.
For one who suffered far too much,
Is resting in God’s will.
You never said goodbye to us,
Perhaps its just as well,
We never could have said goodbye,
To one we loved so well.
