Flyers Sign Richards

The Philadelphia Flyers have signed Kenora’s Mike Richards to a 3-year
contract.
The forward was a first-round pick of the Flyers in 2003 but needed
to be signed by Thursday or he would have been put back in Saturday’s Draft in Ottawa.
Richards will receive the maximum salary of $942,000 per year.
