The Dryden Food Bank is looking to partner with the City to help offset
some of its costs.
Manager Kyle Mason approached Council Monday and requested that
their property taxes be forgiven.
Mason says they receive no funding and rely on donations.
The 2007 operating budget for the Food Bank is nearly $64,000,
with nearly $5,400 set aside to pay taxes.
The Food Bank handed out over 3,000 hampers last year.
Council has agreed to explore different options to help the Food
Bank.
