City of Dryden Looking at Illegal Parking

Private parking lot owners may have more control over who parks on
their property.
The Dryden Police Service is asking the City to amend the current bylaw
to allow private owners to set their own rules.
Police Chief Shayne MacKinnon says the goal is to crack down on illegal
parking and overnight camping as well as allow for the possibility of
generating some revenue.
If approved, next Monday, private property owners would be able to sell parking permits.
MacKinnon says it will be up to private parking lot owners whether they
decide to participate and the city will handle enforcement.
