The second season of Fool’s Gold on Discovery Canada resumes airing Tuesday night and it features inexperienced miners at the Straw Lake Beach Mine, between Dryden and Fort Frances.
The program is also airing in several countries, with Sweden the latest to pick up the series.
The show follows members of Shotgun Exploration as they attempt to extract gold from the mining area.
Boss Todd Ryznar says he’s impressed with how the production turned out and notes the show is gaining in popularity.
Ryznar notes each episode has a movie feeling to it and each one is unique.
Twelve new episodes were created for this season.
