Forensic tests delay armed robbery case

Two armed robbery suspects did not appear in Fort Frances court today but their case did come before the justice of the peace.

The Crown has indicated more forensic tests are being done in the case and for that reason the matter has been remanded to June 20th.

OPP charged 35-year-old Neil Patrick Brown and 24-year-old Pamela Marie Maygle, of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, earlier this year in a string of armed robberies which spanned nearly a five month period.

In February, the court ordered the couple to return to Manitoba, report regularly to the RCMP and abide by a curfew.
