Students and staff in the Outers program at Atikokan High School will be involved in a unique building project next year.
Public school board officials say students will take part in building a storage area under the supervision of teaching staff.
Students will be learning skills as they learn a trade which will also give them high school credits.
The cost of the project is about 100-thousand dollars with financial support from the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines.
The Outers program is celebrating its 40th anniversary in Atikokan this year with a reunion celebration planned for July 11th to 17th.
