The Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union has seen enough and
is ready to take matters into its own hands.
CEP has announced plans to hold a Forestry Crisis Summit to tackle
what it calls, ‘the biggest single job crisis ever faced in one sector’.
The move comes after Abitibi-Bowater announced the indefinite

Union officials say they are fed up with the lack of action from both
levels of government.
The agenda and shape of the summit are still being worked on.
