Wabigoon Fire and Rescue Deal with Collision

Highway 17 was closed for roughly 3-hours Sunday morning after a
2-vehicle collision in Wabigoon.
Wabigoon Fire and Rescue say 2-tractor trailer units sideswiped each
other and one of the transports jackknifed across the Highway.
Rescue crews were able to contain a fuel spill and police say one
person was injured.
The highway re-opened around 8:30 Sunday morning.
