Forest Fire Situation in Red Lake

Firefighters continue to battle a +3,200 hectare forest fire in Woodland Caribou Provincial Park.
The fire is burning near Murdoch and Knox Lake, which is 40-kilometres northwest of Red Lake.
Information Officer Kathy Crampton says crews are trying to keep the flames away from several camps.
The fire is causing smokey conditions in Red Lake, so bad that some say you can’t even see down a street.
There are 41-forest fires burning in the Red Lake area.
