The number of forest fires in Northwestern Ontario is increasing.
There are 27 and counting reported fires effective July 12th.
Information officer with the Northwest Region Forest Fire Management Center Debbie McLean says they anticipated over 30 by the 12th.
The fires are still classified as high to extreme.
McLean also says there is a restricted fire hazard in parts of Northeastern Ontario, and that those travelling this weekend need to be aware of where they are.
