There were 11 new forest fires reported in the Kenora
District yesterday, with six of those found in the
Northwest Region.
Fire Information Officer, Travis Moffatt says all the
new fires were caused by lightning strikes.

Moffatt says they expect more fire activity this week
due to Thunderstorms that rolled through the region late
last week.
