The Provincial Government is investing $7.5-million in a
forest inventory program.
Minister of Natural Resources David Ramsay says the inventory will
help support better forest management decisions and increase confidence in
the wood supply in Northern Ontario.
A contract has been awarded to an Alberta company to conduct the
high-resolution aerial imagery.
Ramsay says the initiative will give them a better idea on the state
of the wood supply in the Region.
